The inhabitants of Jacobean London were never the least bit coy about their sexual shenanagins and the characters in this comedy are all ‘at it’ all the time. Whether their cavortings and couplings are driven by love, lust or financial greed it’s hard to say. Certainly you’d be hard-pressed to find such a thing as a chaste maid (or husband or wife) anywhere in Middleton’s Cheapside.

David played the role of Tim Yellowhammer.
